The Netherlands is deeply concerned by the actions made, and believes that it must rethink its relationship with Israel if they continue to use violence as a method of gaining peace. Acting in a way that breaches international law is not something that The Netherlands would like to be associated with, and is glad that both countries seem to be open to discussions.

Sweden can't condone acts of violence except under the strictest of circumstances. We continue to promote the use of diplomacy to settle nations' differences, and this is what the citizens of all nations deserve.
If the only reason Israel is attending these talks is to talk about a non-existent nuclear programme then Iran is sorry to say you are wasting your time. Iran is getting tired of Israel's and the US's unfounded views on the way in which want to use our enriched uranium. Iran feels that the only reason Israel attacked us is because they want to be even more influential in the area and as a result decided to unlawfully attack us.

Iran refuses to attend peace talks with the United States having any involvement, the peace talks would fall into chaos as the United States willfully follows anything Israel says. Iran will only attend peace talks in Moscow. We feel we are being very lenient considering your unjustified attack on our great nation.

The IAEA would like to remind Iran that it's nuclear program is far from "non-existant". We've been to your enrichment centres...

The hostility of the nuclear program is a point of contention, however.

Iran apologies, what it meant to say was 'nuclear weapons programme.'

OOC: Did genuinely mean to put that

The Kingdom of Morocco understands Iran's frustrations and commends Iran for the restraint shown thus far. Morocco, however, urges Iran to consider allowing the United States to play a role in the peace talks because Morocco fears that the peace talks will completely fall apart and lead to a war that will see lives needlessly lost.

Libya moves that the talks take place within the next week to prevent events escalating out of control.

Australia concurs with this motion. The talks should be held posthaste.

The UK disagrees with Libyas motion and instead puts forth that the two countries have a showdown, we will act as the international ladbrookes in this instance aswell.

On a slightly more serious note the UK is moderately curious as to how Israel penetrated so deeply into Iranian airspace and sustained no casulties baring in mind Irans air defence network is hardly substandard...?
We would also like to hear the sentiments of the Gulf States baring in mind Israel has blown up a nuclear facility which may well irradiate nations such as the UAE, Saudi, Kuwait etc.

Australia is not amused. We too are curious about Iran's defence systems, we will be meeting with the Iranian Ambassador shortly, and will bring this up with him.

The IAEA has submitted a preliminary report to the SG on the matter of fallout and damage, hopefully it will be made public shortly.

OOC: There's been a recent spate of negging in here...

We will release a statement if possible.

Further discussion on that topic should be deferred to the next UKUSA meeting. On an unrelated note; Australia feels the situation necessitates an emergency meeting of the UKUSA parties immediately. >_>

How would one hold the talks? :holmes:

--------

The Russian Federation is pleased to see that Israel has agreed to come to talks, we shall set it up ASAP as the situation needs to be defused and we need peace or at the very least no more attacks in the region. The United States however will not be involved, we all know that they will cause more harm than good, we want positive talks not talks with a country that basically already called for war on Iran. We the Russian Federation don't wish for war and feel we are best placed to provide these peaceful talks.
