Do you have something you can increase the depth on them with? Or are you already going hands to shoulders? How wide of a hand position are you using? That will affect the amount of ROM there is, which isn't much to begin with

Also, I'm not surprised that they feel easy for you (head to floor), as they do for me. And your OHP is crazy!

I'm already doing them full ROM, to the shoulders, with weight. I vary width so as to not have any weaknesses. Right now I've been doing them "slow" but next time I'm going to try very very slow, or very explosive. Decided to keep them.

I saw on your log you're following coach Sommer's book. It's a really good book; I followed it through last year.

Today's workout:

- Squat: 1x3, 1x2, 1x2, 9x4 (128 kg / 280 lbs.)
- Weighted Ring Chin Ups: 4x10 (20 kg / 45 lbs.)
- Stiff-Legged Deadlift: 4x6 (96 kg / 210 lbs.)
- Other back and legs work.

A very "funny" thing happened today. I lost count on my Squat sets (was supposed to do 5) and ended up doing 9 sets. I started laughing like a madman when I noticed. On one hand I lost a lot of time, but I also managed to do all 9 sets cleanly so I was happy in the end.

Love the motivation vids!
The second rep was so frickin motivational, my heart rate actually increased as I saw him grind that rep out.

I always watch these kind of videos before working out so I do everything with perfect form and max effort.
His speed is incredible.

By the way, I haven't forgot about the pressing video you guys requested. Last Monday I got one, but I reckon the weight was too light. So this Monday I'll try and get a video with a bit "heavier" weight (90 kg) for reps.

Full ROM + 20kg!? You're crazy lol!

Ah nice. Did you do OHPs along side it, or just HSPUs?

I've always done weights in one way or another.
There was a time when I dedicated to just calisthenics/gymnastics, but I lost too much strength and size.

Today's workout:

- Overhead Press: 1x3, 1x2, 1x2, 10x3 (87 kg / 190 lbs.)
- Light Bench Press: 1x3, 1x2, 4x6 (96 kg / 210 lbs.)
- Light Squats: 1xx3, 1x2, 3x3 (116 kg / 255 lbs.)
- Other chest and shoulder exercises.

Very terrible and long workout. I was waiting for a friend to shoot the video and she showed up 2 hours later. I had to take the video myself and I was already very exhausted (had already done Overhead Press, Bench Press, and Squats). The video shows terrible effort, so I'll get another video done next week; it will be a lot smoother.

How come you don't rack the bar across your shoulders when you push press? e.g:

Inflexible wrists?

Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. Never had a problem.

Today's workout:

- Deadlift: 1x3, 1x2, 1x2, 1x1, 6x2 (168 kg / 370 lbs.)
- Weighted Ring Bulgarian L Pull Ups: 4x8 (20 kg / 45 lbs.)
- Squats: 1x3, 1x2, 4x6 (120 kg / 265 lbs.)
- Other back and leg work.
- Gymnastics work.

This week hasn't been the best for me. I've gotten through the workouts but more tired than normal. On a positive note, the squats were very explosive. I also ripped my hands pretty nice with the deads.

Today's workout:

- Bench Press: 1x3, 1x2, 1x2, 5x3 (109 kg / 240 lbs.)
- Light Overhead Press: 1x3, 1x2, 5x6 (80 kg / 175 lbs.)
- Other chest and shoulder work.

Been focusing on explosiveness. The bench was surprisingly fast, as well as the OHP.
To clarify on the Push Press question from before- I press from my chest when my wrists aren't feeling so good. It's more dangerous and harder than pressing from the shoulders, but it saves my wrists. I'll try and get a video of a clean lift next Monday; hopefully my wrists will be alright then.

Possibly the next WSM champion. He's a very well-rounded athlete and a nice guy too.

he would be the current WSM Champion if the final event didn't favour tall guys so much. Tall guy just had to lock out a deadlift for each step and Lalas had to upright row it for every step.

I know, it was a killer watching that. Savickas is pretty well rounded too though. Next year Lalas will get it, and Hafthor will most likely be up there too. Two future champions.
Interesting blog dude. Keep posting

Today's workout:

- Squats: 1x3, 1x2, 1x2, 5x3 (134 kg / 295 lbs.)
- Weighted Ring Chin Ups: 4x10 (20 kg / 45 lbs.)
- Stiff Legged Deadlift: 4x8 (136 kg / 300 lbs.) * Just to feel the stretch.
- Other legs and back work.

Had some trouble with the footing during squats, but they were very easy. I feel I'm going to get some big PR's on the Squat and Dealift when I test my maxes.
Got a squat video.

Today's workout really made me consider some things. I definitely have to make some changes. The Overhead Press was worse than last week and even my bench suffered because of it. On a positive note, my light Front Squats were not affected and I was able to do 5x3 (116 kg/255 lbs.) with a pause and explosively.
