primate research report help?

At the moment i'm doing placement at the museum and would like to do a small research / mini project on the primate collection the museum has to offer .

each time i go to start something i come to a dead end , i need to do a project that i can collect data on and put together a report .

some things that have crossed my mind are dental ,diets, homo erectus, but i just dont know where to start .

has anyone done a project on primate material before that could give me some advice on what to do or suggest ?

any help would be appreciated

I'm thinking of doing a masters in primatology and I have the same question. I don't know how to start a project/disssertation on fossil specimens? If your working in a museum maybe ask the researchers there for tips? Some ideas might be something like comparing how differences in dentition represent different diets. I'm sorry i can't be much more help but i'd be really interested if anyone knows how you'd go about a project like this.
