Student finance help needed?!?

I know the answer to this query is to call them to discuss my case and I will during half-term next week but I'd love some advice before!

I studied for 1 year at a University in the North West. I received a full tuition fee loan and a maintenance loan for that first year. I unfortunately, due to reasons beyond my control, failed that first year so resat, receiving a partial tuition fee loan and full maintenance loan for the 2nd year. I failed again so left that University.

I'm now reapplying to a different Uni for a part-time degree (2 years foundation + 1 year BA Hons + PGCE or GTP) and have an unconditional offer. I am aware of the 'length of course + 1 year - any years of previous study' arrangement but wondered if only receiving a partial tuition fee loan previously will make a difference? I would now only need a tuition fee loan and no maintenance as I am working.

I appreciate this has been asked a lot but after trawling the net and getting in a panic, some opinions/facts may help.
