A-Level results day - Thursday 7 March 2013
Good luck to everyone as we approach the publication of A-Level results. This thread is here for you to share your subjects, results and plans for the future, if you wish to do so. Please remember though that there is a strictly no discussion policy in place, and any posts breaking this rule will be removed. There is a limit of one post per user.
Please visit the Results day discussion thread for extended conversation! Upon publication, the Grade boundaries thread will be used to share the details made available by exam boards. For anyone disappointed with their results, we have a thread with advice for those who haven't done as well as they hoped to help you to decide what to do next.

C1, C2, and Physics AS 1 are repeats so my slight confidence is justified there. C3 went good, will probably scrape an A grade. Physics A2 1 was a disaster and did not give a good representation of the work I put into that module.

Probably the least sure about this results day compared to the previous ones. F214 was probably the only biology exam where I've come out feeling a tad unsure. Psychology was a bitch, so I'm glad I revised for that. Hoping I can scrape two A's on both but honestly, it could go either way.
Overall, puts me in a very good position for June.

Initial thoughts: Both Accounts went well (unit 2 being a resit). Law was surprisingly straightforward. Mechanics was a horrible paper and I doubt I scraped a B. Core 3 was decent but a 6 marker could have cost me an A.
Aftermath: Expected the A's in accounts, disappointed in my c3 mark, looks like that 6 marker killed me. Mechanics meh solid paper so no surprise there. Law I hoped for an A so frustrated there, overall pretty decent grades tbh.

Comments and reactions Physics was terrible and M1 was relatively hard. Hoping to achieve predicted grades with high UMS scores so I don't have to retake any in the summer!
EDIT: Pleased, especially with hard Physics paper and Maths module result. Not retaking anything which is a relief!
