AWESOME chemistry website!

Ok firstly sorry if this has already been mentioned (serching has been disabled due to high server load!) but chemguide.co.uk is totally awesome for really understanding chemistry! im doing redox chemistry at the mo and neither my teacher or any of my textbooks explains it in terms of equilibria. this totally cleared up tonnes of stuff which wernt adding up for me (like how come for standard reduction potentials you need to set conc and pressure but dont have to worry about solids). also helped a lot for acid base and buffer solutions better than wikipedia for chem which is my usual soruce of knowledge!

Depending on what you need you may find these lectures on equations balancing, pH calculation and concentrations valuable.

Have you seen such an equation?

4169 HNO2 + 4637 HN3 -> 5105 N2 + 3935 N2O + 4403 H2O

Balanced, although seems strange... you will learn what is going on :smile:

www.4college.co.uk is good; specifically for Salters OCR but I'm sure it would help other syllabuses.
