My favorite all-time is Billy Joel, with "Summer Highland Falls", but these days, I can't seem to get out of bed without listening to Peter Gabriel's "Sledgehammer"..
Join together's been in my mind a bit recently, but then again I've been having a lot of the Who coming from my speakers recently. It happens when I realise I've exhausted the Beatles catalog and I end up drifting to other bands before returning to them again :'s
Baba O'riley I don't think will ever stop being a favourite of mine.

I'm doing the Beatles drift at the mo too - seems to be Fleetwood Mac and Elvis sorting things out!
It's really quite cyclical. You listen to the Beatles because they're so amazing, realise you've heard virtually all their songs and all the versions of their songs (except revolution 9 which isn't a song at all) and then try and find something just as good in other bands. Then you realise they aren't /quite/ as good and return to the Beatles and the cycle repeats
Right now I'm torn between Truth, Rest Your Head and Speak to me Someone (both by Gene) and Last of the Famous International Playboys by Morrissey. I'm staying at uni over aster so I'm singing them very loudly at all opportunities.
