I'm not too sure about XMAS, seeing as they have to employ security staff etc. I imagine most accommodation buildings stay open for as much time as possible. I know you don't have to move your stuff out until the contract ends though.

Yeah you can stay during the Xmas period, you've just got to tell security or email them so that they know you're there :smile:

Just saw your post about halls, I have chosen Sandby because I really want an en-suite and it's sharing between more people (which is good or bad). I wanted to share between more people personally. Hampden looks a bit too prison like for my liking, and for not that much more a week Sandby is alot nicer!

Do you have Facebook? I've made a facebook group and adding people who are thinking of going to Sandby on it - already got 7-8 of us!

Yep! I too have a conditional for broadcast journalism. Sandby looks really good for socialising and is pretty good price wise compared to the others, but not too sure about getting ample sleep and having to lock my food away in a cupboard! Haha. Which floor are you looking to stay on?

I'd really like one on the second floor. But then again, I'm not too fussed. It's just that I'd hate to get a room that's so high up. Climbing huge flights of stairs isn't really one of my strongest attributes
