Because I want to be a doctor. :erm:
I don't want to be a pharmacist or biomedical scientist, I want to be a doctor.

Simples.
Because you want to diagnose patients and not just spend your time concocting devious and horrible "cures" for things like we pharmacists? I don't know, why did you think you'd prefer medicine to pharmacy/biomed? I had the question in reverse when I applied for pharmacy, and I was more interested in the medicines themselves and how they worked in the body than diagnosing things. In other words, I'm just in it for the drugs :wink:
