    I did the OCR one, what a joke. I forgot all of the maths bits.

    Our invidulator kept breathing through his nose and he sounded like darth vader, seriously! Grr.

    And the other invidulator's phone kept going off and she went outside to answer it.

    Other than that, it was alright, I did the end question about the building new motorways.

    Give an example of a mission to space?!
    I did the motorway question too - however i didn't do great on part (b).

    My calculator came in handy for question 1 - simply working through the instructions and understanding it was the key.

    I had AQA A Unit 3 today.
    I should imagine that people doing Politics raped this one..."how can PG success vary" or something along those lines.........Jeez! It could be in a Politics paper!

    I did the OCR Scientific Domain paper this afternoon too and overall I think I have done "okay."

    When I first opened the paper to the mathematical questions I was like "OMG - What on earth are they going on about?" however as I read through the formulas I was able to apply them to questions and managed to get reasonable answers, I think. In saying this these questions did take longer than I anticipated, so I lost a couple of minutes for answering the essay questions.

    I was halfway through my comclusion when the invigelator said "Pens Down," however as I had an "Additional Sheet" to attach and fill in onto my exam paper, she collected all of the papers down my row and then came back to me, so I was able to finish it by writing a really crappy "end setence" lol! :p:

    Thats exactly how I feel!

    Glad it went well for you Nicki, I had to work out maths as well lol, it wasn't a nice experience. Which question did you choose in section C?

    Also for one of the percentages i got 133.3% (seems abit wierd, did you get that at all?)
    No - was that the percentage increase one? I got 50% because I am stupid...but a friend said it was 233.3% - which I think is the right answer.

    Which essay did you do? I did the last one about criminals and sentences.

    It wasn't too bad, let's hope the examiners liked my answers, and I've moved up to an A

    If we are on about the Edexcel paper, then I think your friend is right with their answer; i said that aswell.

    I didn't have a clue what was meant by deviance, but apparently what I said is about right.

    Did anyone else do the essay question on the EU? That question was a gift, especially if you do Politics.

    No, but deviance was fine for me - it's GCSE Sociology, I haven't covered it this year but I remembered what it was. I did the last essay question, haven't done Politics.

    I got 133.3% as the percentage increase from 3 to 7

    3= 100%
    1=33.3%

    increased by 4 so 133.3% i thought. I also checked it with a calculator and it worked ok.

    I invigilated the exam. Very boring watching students so we all amused ourselves doing Darth Vader impressions.

    just done AQA one, was pretty easy, i chose Q1,2,4,5 as they seemed the easiest,
    The stereotypes one, i talked about prejudice and how racism and sexism has improved greatly but new sterotypes in our youths (chavs and goths) may lead to more stereotypes in the future.
    The self-employed one, well i watched this program on BBc1 earlier about a woman going into self employment so i used that and mentioned that self employed people earn £130,000 on average in the first year, i mentioned the risks and security, normally a house, mortgage or savings may be lost, then i got stuck and did bullet point of Advantages and Disadvantages which is obviously not going to get marked, but i didnt understand what continuous pose ment lol.
    The Marriage one, i talked about religion, and history were it used to be illegal to divorced (no idea if that is true) 1 in 3 couples get divorced. People get married in leisure centres etc. Marriage is a sacrament, society views it as a sign of love rather than a life long commiment. Then i went off on one and said how can a man and woman getting married be realistic when gay people get married nowadays, I know but i couldnt think of any better arguement.
    Finally the ASBO one, i was running out of time so mentioned there is no proof that society was more or less agressive before ASBOs came out. I mentioned that a positive was the givernment trying to resolve the issue of anti social behaviour and i mentioned youths are mainly the ones getting ASBOs which could lead to them doing further crime in the future.

    I didnt revise at all so im happy with my answers, but my table was sooo wobbly but not the leg the desk bit was coming off lol very distracting.
    Yeh I did 1, 3, 4, 5. I know next to nothing about self employment and the last question about pollution or something looked boring. I liked the marriage question and the stereotyping one but the other two I wrote complete rubbish for, nevermind. I considered writing 'I really don't care' on the BBC question.
