La Place transforms

Hello there,
To anyone who has a spare couple of minutes, could you just let mw know what you get as the answer to this question.

"Use La place transforms to solve the system of differential equations

dx/dt + x + 2dy/dt = 0

dx/dt -x + 4dy/dt = 2e^-t.

With y(0) = 1 and x(0) = 2 "

Thankyou for your time .

I got x(t) = -e^(-t)+3e^(-3t), y(t)=2 - e^(-3t),

but I wouldn't be surprised if i made a mistake somewhere...

yep thats exactly the answer I got. Thanks a lot for checking Dan.
