ODP study books

Hi
I am due to begin an ODP course in September and wondered if there were any current students out there who could give me some ideas on what books are useful for study? I am trying to get a head start on the studying as I have two young children and don't want to fall behind before I even start!!
Thanks in advance!

For recovery Hatfield and Tronson's recovery room book is pretty much the bible of working in recovery. It's worthwhile waiting till you start uni though than splurging a load of money on expensive textbooks as they may recommend other texts.

Hi JRee. I just wondered how you are getting on in your course? I also have two children and nearly applied to do the ODP course at Leicester uni a few years ago. Finances and childcare stopped me but I haven't let go of the dream yet! Do you mind me asking how you are finding juggling it all? Where are you doing the course? Thanks, Jo :-)
