What is a MTK system in a phone?

I want to buy a phone from ebay and some phones says the system is "MTK (it's not a smartphone)". What does this mean?

From what I can gather, an MTK phone is a phone manufactured by Chinese brand MediaTek. The phone in that listing is not a smart phone, it'll be something more like a feature phone (like an old Sony Ericsson K700) but with a touch screen.

Basically, I'd avoid it! :yep: If you want a cheap smart phone, get a Moto G. :smile:
