2 x 2500 essays vs exams

I'm currently having to decide what modules to take next year. All 6 compulsory modules have exams at the end of the year and two 1500 word essays every 10 weeks (a semester).

Now I'm not sure what to choose for my other option. On one hand I can choose a level 5 module and have the same set up as above (with an exam at the end of the year and 4 essays). On the other, I could choose a level 6 module (it is something I'm interested in btw) where there's no exam but two 2500 word essays to be done over the year.

I know it'll come down to my personal preference in the end but I'm curious: what would you do?

Thanks

If it was me, I'd pretty much always go for the thing I'm interested in. 2 x 2500 words over a whole year seems very little anyway. Also, I don't like exams: I'd pick coursework any day!

You just have to do what feels right for you, and there's not much else to it!
