Do you know what date the f321 exam is on?

23 May AM I believe.
Does anybody have the F322 January 2013 paper?

Guys, how have you lot studied all the equations and catalysts and all that?

Also, what's meant by the term high volatility?

One disadvantage if the volatility of petrol is too high.

Electron pair donor.
CCS? Not sure if I've covered this yet.
Margarine is made by catalytic hydrogenation of unsaturated vegetable oils. It requires the addition of hydrogen and a nickel catalyst.
Homolytic fission.
Homologous series = a series of organic compounds with the same functional group but with each successive member differing by CH2.

Is anyone else finding unit 2 easier than unit 1?

At first I found Unit 2 soooo much harder than unit 1 but now it only seems slight harder.

I guess it was but even in biology and physics the Unit 2's are easier, even though there is more content they just ask you the simplest questions as they have to cover 100 marks. What did you get in unit 1 chem and how are you finding unit 2?

I got 76 in unit1 which is a low A, disappointed about the type marks I had lost unit 2 is a lot harder in my opinion, so much more to remember! Yourself?

I do physics too, do you do aqa?

Got an A in unit 1. I always work hardest for chemistry and get the lowest marks. Wish it came as naturally as maths and physics.

and I hate memorising catalysts.

Exactly the same here, my marks in maths and physics were much better compared to chemistry

Have you done the quantitative on reaction rates and enthalpy changes? Because my evaluative after the half term will be based on that.
