Multiple regression

Hi everyone,

I need some help with my statistics for my dissertation. I am doing a multiple regression, using a longitudinal design, and have different measures being used at different waves of data.

I need to know how to control for certain variables (in my case age of adoption, and previous conduct problems). How do I do this on SPSS?

Also, would anyone be able to help guide me through doing the regression on spss? I would be eternally grateful!!

Can you please tell me a bit more information? What exactly do you have to do? When we say "control for x and y" it usually just means putting those variables into the regression.

Also what do you mean by longitudinal and waves of data? I've done so much regression in my course but I have never come across these terms.
