2nd year modules
I may be jumping the gun a little as I've yet to finish my exams, but I've been looking recently at 2nd year modules. Upon picking the courses I enjoyed most this year, I realised that stats or mechanics didn't appear at all. In reality I didn't really give 'Probability' a chance. Most of the time I just wasn't interested in what we did, so I'm happy to drop it completely. However, I'm worried that dropping any form of 'mechanics' as well would be a bad choice as I recently found it a bit more interesting upon further revision.
Basically, I'm asking if there are many people at university who drop stats and mechanics completely at the first opportunity? Would dropping both seriously narrow my choices later on in my degree?
