When should I sit the BMAT?

I'm still unsure about whether my AS-Level results will be sufficient for medicine and I'm worrying about the application. When should I sit the BMAT and UKCAT?

Last sitting date for UKCAT this year is 4th October or something.
People sit BMAT in like November I think.

You have plenty of time after results day (16th August?) to make your choice.

There is only one date for the BMAT, and that is after you apply in early November. You will need to have decided before then.
You can sit both after you have your AS results (the BMAT is only held on one date in November anyway), but bear in mind that the cost of the UKCAT goes up closer to the deadline and you may have to travel further away to sit it as centres get booked up.
