Warwick or Fudan?

Poll

Which university?

Hi everyone!

I at a bit of a standstill in deciding between continuing at my Chinese university, Fudan University, or picking up studies at the University of Warwick. I study social sciences, like sociology, and seek an intellectual atmosphere (not all about partying, right) at a university with a relatively strong international reputation. Fudan, like Warwick I take it, is revered domestically but is less known abroad. I want to ask you people who know more about Warwick what you think about the university, especially in terms of its intellectual atmosphere, international opportunities for graduates and sociology department. I am also wondering whether I would be able to take any non-sociology courses at Warwick, any information about that would be very welcome.

I have also considered Durham, but I have a comprehension that Warwick is better for sociology. Am I mistaken? Any ideas about this?

Thank you tremendously for taking your time to read! ~
Alice
If you want to live in the air of academic freedom go to Warwick. It depends on what you want really.
