Postgraduate accomodation

Can someone please clarify a few points for me. I am starting a postgraduate taught course this September.

I take it that I am not guaranteed university managed accommodation as my course is a 'taught' one?

I wish to apply for university managed accommodation, I can only do so from August?

What is the likelihood of getting university accommodation if I was to apply in this way?

What is the private accommodation sector like? I would prefer to be within cycling distance of the University. Any good websites to use to find private accommodation?

Any advice from other postgrads on a taught degree would be much appreciated.

Most of your questions could be answered by the Accommodation Office at Sussex. Just send them an email.
