I just got my ISA results back for Physics (Pendulums) and Biology (Photosynthesis) :

    Physics: 38/50
Biology: 40/50 oh and I tried to retake this and got 39/50 for osmosis

What do these mean? I always thought It'd go on percentages. like 38 = 76% = 76 UMS. But it's become apparent they're a little bit different. Does anyone know what the conversion rates of raw ISA marks /50 to UMS are? are they different for the different ISA's? Thanks in advance!

You have to wait for results day to find out the UMS. What the exam board does, is they collect everyone's results and standardise it so say one year 46/50 could be 100 UMS and the next year it could be 48/50. Also know that your mark could change in moderation, it could go up or down so even if you did know the conversion, you still wouldn't know your grade.
