Extenuating Circumstances

Background info:

I went to portsmouth uni, failed the year and got kicked out.
Then went to Coventry, passed first year
Then failed 2nd year
Re-taking 2nd year
Will be in 3rd year in september if i pass.

Right now the problem is, for next year student finance won't allocate me any grants. Leaving me with little money for the final year.

I suffered with depression for 4 years but have finally been to the doctor and sorted it.

Can I apply for extenuating circumstances to get a grant next year?

If so how do I go about doing that?

Thanks.

do you have evidence that for the year(s) you're applying EC for, that you had depression?

I can get my Doctor to write a letter? I've been treated for almost a year and I'm coming off medication as we speak.

Yeah. A letter is what's needed.
