Re: TSR Labour Party Question Time.We are fine with support(Original post by rachie22)
read your policies for the Libertarians. I support some of them but the majority of them I don't support. sorry. i can understand you are wishing to recruit more people to gain support, but I cannot join you.
The problem is people just join the big parties, which often do not actually represent their views compared with their Real life equivalents.
No need to say sorry, just helping somebody make an informed decision -

Re: TSR Labour Party Question Time.Indeed
I'm not, yet.(Original post by JPKC)
Are any members of TSR Labour members of the real life party? -
Re: TSR Labour Party Question Time.Yes, I'm in young Labour, even though I don't agree with all the policies they give.(Original post by JPKC)

For those who aren't, its a great way to get involved - they have lots of events across the country, and even if you are under 18, you still get to vote in the Labour Primaries for General Executive Committee and Police Commissioner etc. I just expected membership to be passive but they actually send huge candidate booklets for you to read and choose from in order to represent Labour on a national level. Even big names in there like Livingstone and Prescott in there too!
I don't know about the other parties, but I imagine its similar to the Labour party. Thoroughly recommend joining a political party if you are into politics

Yes, I'm in young Labour, even though I don't agree with all the policies they give.

I did the same for Tony Lloyd. One week in the constituency, another in London. A hoot. Did you vote in the NEC elections? If so, Progress or Grassroots?(Original post by TopHat)

Re: TSR Labour Party Question Time.Congratulations to RoryS. A great member of the Labour party though we go from agreeing on everything one minute to being opposed to each other the next.(Original post by TopHat)
RoryS has become the new Labour Party Reserve Deputy Leader. Congratulations to him!

Re: TSR Labour Party Question Time.I assume also that this is purely temporary as well. Once you return, will Labour revert to two leadership positions?(Original post by TopHat)
Half of parties have a triple leadership structure. Cons have Leader/Dept./Chairman, Socialists have C1/Dept./C2, we're now on 3 as well. -
Re: TSR Labour Party Question Time.We have just ruled it out because of the concern about responsibilities(Original post by TopHat)

Re: TSR Labour Party Question Time. We'll see how it goes. Having a Joint Deputy Leadership could be nice.(Original post by toronto353)

Re: TSR Labour Party Question Time. They're each a different role though. The Chairman isn't the 'reserve deputy leader' or vice versa.(Original post by TopHat)

I think David decided that there was no reserve in my title so I'm just another Deputy Leader I think.
Thanks - I hope it's not too confusing!
Thank you Toronto - indeed, that is the case.(Original post by toronto353)
