Hello HB2672,

Architecture is one of those courses that does attract limited funding if you are taking it as a second degree (along with Medicine, Dentistry or Veterinary courses). To be eligible, the Architecture course you are wishing to study has to lead to a "professional qualification" as an Architect, so its best to check this with your university.

If the course qualifies, you can apply for a means tested living cost loan, but you are not eligible for a tuition fee loan or a living cost grant.

(If you qualify you would still be eligible for the Parents' Learning Allowance, Childcare Grant, Disabled Students' Allowance or Adult Dependants' Grant.)

You might want to also check with your university to see if you are eligible for any of their bursary or scholarship schemes as a second degree student.

Hope this helps!
