Ye certain things are increased but it's similar risks to that of a women giving birth later in life ( which is increasing nowadays) yet you don't get people saying don't delay having children have them while you are young as it would seem inappropriate but the risk are small. Loads of things increase your risk to xyz but we don't stop doing them, obviously doing it (cousin marriages) over many generations is probably not a good idea.

Marrying cousins is allowed by law in this country and in Islam some of the royals have done it themselves. At the end of the day it's up to you no one is forcing you I understand it's weird if you grew up with them as you have a psychological family bond. It's not really a big deal.
