isn't it sunnah to wake up at sehri?
Sehri is a sunnah and not a fard so I tend to ignore it.

But I do Fjar at 1.30am and go to sleep - so Im too tired to do Sehri on school nights thus I wake up for Sehri at the weekends

New topic - why are bengalis forced to marry bengalis only?

Fair enough we have to save our heritage etc but dont our parents know that Pakistanis/Iraqis/Arabs etc are muslims?

The last time I head a bengali marrying a pakistani was in 2001 and people talked about it negatively.

Why is this? Why are we restricted to marrying someone of the same nationality?

Also dont bengalis know that Bangladesh is a mixed race in a way - you get light bengalis and dark bengalis

That's because the Persians/Iranians came to Bdesh to enforce Islam

But also bengalis can be racist to their own people!

At weddings they always comment if the couple's skin tone match/are good etc

my parents reason for disapproval is that they can't check up on their background and history. but i just think, why should it matter!

im gonna marry a bengali just to keep my parents happy, and also cos im lazy and can't be bothered with all the hassle of marrying a non bengali!
