Are there Chavs in Oxford, and are they posh?

Posh relative to say northern chavs, who are proper 'hard', what are oxford chavs like?

We don't nationally get insight into chavdom from other regions in the country. Hence my insularity.
There is no such thing as a posh chav.:rolleyes:
I saw a good few of them when I was there recently yeah, saw one group chasing another at one point. They didn't seem that hard though, I reckon they'd get beat ****less anywhere else.

i don't think you can get a "posh" chav-a rich chav definitely but "posh" does not always directly relate to being rich, you can be posh without being loaded as you can be loaded and be a chav.

If one is described as posh they are "elegant and stylishly luxurious" - do you get elegant chavs?

I am from Oxford. There are chavs everywhere. I would avoid going to places such as Rosehill, black bird ley ...etc

I visited Oxford once, and outside the university and city centre, it actually seems to be a pretty poor and run down place.
