Do I need to take Biology to A2 for Dentistry/Optometry
I've always been interested in science and I'd love to study either dentistry or optometry.
Currently, I'm taking AS Biology, Chemistry, Maths & French and I want to drop one next year. I was initially thinking of dropping Biology as I find it the least interesting (mostly due to the teaching), but others have told me that it is a requirement for certain universities. Is this the case?

It's just one of these subjects which seems like the obvious choice for these career path. However most universities require it for at least AS however keeping it is also not bad since you really need at least two science subjects and a math or another science and the fourth can be anything. If you do want to drop it then I guess you could. But most unis do require is to an A at least.. so keeping it does give you that slight advantage of resiting in case you didn't make it.
