Anything's possible with a bit of booze  That's a great plan! I've applied for and paid the deposit on City En-suite! If we don't end up on the same floor I'll have to come round yours for pre-drinks  I want it to be September now!! I can't wait another 4 months haha

yay we're getting en suite as well, cause I'm a bathroom hygiene freak. i know three people who are getting studio with their own kitchens and such but studio is too quite for me. I like a shared kitchen cause I like going mental and socialising with people and such, so that is not an option. I so cant wait neither. but four months is not that long though. it will be gone before you know it cause you'll be enjoying the sun and such. (I say 'and such' a lot,bad habit. ignore that. lol) Do you have face-book or whatsapp. i have both so inbox me if you wanna swap contacts : )

awwww don't worry about it. they don't normally reject people so it must have been something they're really good at and highly wanted like nursing or something like that. cause a lotta girls want to do subjects like that. so will you apply for something else with Wolverhampton uni or has another uni accepted you ?

Yeah! They said my personal statement wasn't strong enough and I applied for childrens nursing :frown:

But not to worry too much as I have firmed an offer from London South Bank, congrats on your offer though

I'm exactly the same! Tad bit ocd when it comes to bathrooms haha, the thought of sharing one with a bunch of other people who may not clean up after themselves *shudder* :P Just sent you a link to find me
The nightlife in Wolverhampton isn't as bad as people make out. I'm near the end of my first year and I can tell you I've had a very good time. It can be pretty dead for weeks on end but for some reason there always seems to be the week when everyone just gets on it none stop and them weeks are very, very good. Freshers was especially intense.

I grew up in Birmingham and know the nightlife there too. I would suggest catching a train to go out there because it is a very good night.

I have lived in Randall Lines this year and I can say that is has been madness. They have told us that this year has been the worst Randall has ever been in terms of partying, damages and all round general behaviour: I have to say sorry to those joining this year because it is this years fault you have to pay extra deposit. Currently they've brought in a temp. contract that bans us from drinking after 11 but security never enforce that and it will be gone by the time you come in. If you find the right crowd in the first few weeks of Randall Lines life then you will no doubt have one of the best years of your life. And if you are going to live here then I highly recommend you try and socialise as much as possible as I can imagine it being a very lonely place when the racket is going down and you're stuck alone in your room. Just be careful of some of the jobsworth security guards - you'll soon find out which ones are!

EDIT: You will soon find out that the "party people" that live in Randall tend to hold this undying love for the place and it becomes pretty tribal but it's all in good fun. If you are living in Randall next year I may run into you although most of the people here have gone on to get houses together next year: we may pop in for a few cheeky bevvies with our remaining mates though...

hey. yeh i guess that's always a good idea. friends of mine who are in uni, who stay in Walsall campus say its pretty lively as well so you're gonna have a great time there. and the walsall campus is so nice, oh my gosh. its a little bit more green. its all about the friends you make I suppose. That's what kind of determines your mood when you get to university. do you have any lessons in the wolverhampton campus ?

Yep. There's 6 of us in this house and there are a few of our mates all living within 5 minutes walking distance. Lomas is quite good: Hereford House has a pretty good reputation for drinking this year and is quite entertaining but that isn't en-suite.

You'll enjoy it but I have heard en-suite is quite quiet. If you are looking for a party year then I suggest trying to get into Randall Lines (economy). It's very basic and can get annoying at times (having to share 2 showers/2 toilets with 12 people...) but it's extremely fun. Only last night there was a massive party that ended up with about 30+ people just messing everything up - it was good fun.

dont worry the buildings are all together any ways so if we don't end up in the same block, we'll still see each other and go places together. I think you already know jess as well, so no worries. It'll be an unforgettable freshers

I'm moving into Randall Lines in September and now I can't wait!
I'll be going into the second year on the film, media and cultural studies course, I stayed at Randall Lines last year and it was awful, I ended up moving back home at Christmas and continued paying for the room because they wouldn't let me move out officially.

Did you not like the uni or just Randall lines? You could have always moved into llomas street if you hated Randall.

Tho I agree with you it is a s-hole last year people I know found a bucket full of crap outside it LOL
