gCarroll finds old store receipts. Then goes into the corresponding store, takes an item listed on the receipt off of the shelves to the checkout and asks for a refund.

That (while morally questionable), is genius.

My business is my full time job and I have other stuff I do on the side to make money, currently sorting out coursework.

I just stole things off the shelves and sold them to random people on ebay

But gCarroll's method sounds so much easier

I think it's called 'theft'.
And I have the strangest feeling it may be illegal.

From someone who used to work Customer Services in a supermarket, there is nothing more annoying than people stealing money in a way like that. Go and earn it like the rest of us.

I've done quite a few jobs. At the moment I waitress in the holidays and work as a data entry clerk in term time (although I'm looking for a different term-time job at present because the job I'm in is depressing and the travel to get there is a nightmare!). I also do nude modelling on an ad hoc basis for the university Art Soc, which pay me £20 for 2 hours' work. Genius

Selling an item on eBay and Gumtree which always seems to be in demand! A bit time consuming to produce, but well worth it! Costs low - Profits High!

It's great actually. One of the best jobs I've ever had. Apart from the pay, the art soc president and the modelling co-ordinator look after me really well, the people who draw me are really nice and I usually look pretty good in the drawings too  Methinks they use a fair bit of artistic licence to make me look better but it's all good
I sing, mostly religious stuff now but I used to do barbershop too; it pays very well if you are part of a professional outfit.
