Although its old news, this sort of thing is the norm in countries like Iran. Run by a bunch of religious nutters. If only so many people didn't believe in stuff made up by man.

thats so disturbing. thats not what islam is. thats tyrants using islam to justify their actions. it makes me so incredibly sad seeing things like that. they are not religious nutters, they are not RELIGIOUS. nothing they do is what their religion asks them to do. what they did to that girl is not justified by islam in the slightest.

Well, Iran is really extreme in their view points and i still hate the way they blame Islam for it. There is nothing that says to kill a muslim when he drinks alcohol. This is not 'normative' Islam and people should not consult an extremist country for a 'normative' view of Islam.

Also, the girl did kill one of her assailants, but it was in self-defence so i see nothing wrong with it.
