Let's Learn Together with a bigger, better TSR

Hi everyone

Have you noticed anything different about The Student Room today? If you find yourself thinking “’Learn Together’, that sounds like an awesome blend of effective social learning, creativity, expert help and fun”, you’d be pretty much spot on.

Today TSR just got bigger, better, more useful and more fun. ‘But how on earth is that possible?’ you might well ask. We’ve brought all of the learning tools from our much-loved study sites, Get Revising and Marked by Teachers, onto our main site. Everything’s under one roof, so you now get educational, informative and fun forums, helpful articles, Q&As, personal statement help AND study tools, without having to leave the site!

Get started by having a play around (ahem, ‘serious study session’) with features like interactive whiteboards (study-related drawings only!), user-created materials (a particular favourite is the onesie SWOT analysis), and the potentially grade-saving customised revision timetable. If it’s essay help you need, you’ll also find tons of assignments and other example work from all stages of education (including university) which can give a great insight into what makes an A* (or C-) essay. Best of all, lots of the example work has detailed marking and comments by teachers – so you can find out exactly what the experts are looking for. To find out what people already using the learning tools think of them, check out the legendary Pete’s Langley’s Twitter (also recommended for your daily dose of warm fuzzies).

Many of these features are entirely free, while you access the entire lot by snapping up a new, enhanced TSR subscription package (something which will also add some cool new extras to your TSR forum experience).
