I have a feeling that as there was a lot of materials based stuff on the january paper, this paper might include more on EMF, internal resistance and thermistors sensitivity because these topics have come up on nearly every G491 paper so far but were not asked in the most recent exam.

There are two types:

1) the range of frequencies in a signal i.e. the highest minus the lowest. This limits the number of signals that can be transmitted because you don't want them overlapping.

2) I don't know this one - i'm trying to find it now :s-smilie:

Thanks for the advice, I'll take an extra look at the electricity topics.

Do you find the long paragraph questions difficult? I always feel like I have to guess the mark scheme :frown:

I having to retake this after an epic fail in January, I hoping there is so much more maths in this one, similar to the past papers. E.M.F and internal resistance isn't my favourite topic on the course, but guess I'll be indulging in that this weekend.

Could someone make a general list of the things we SHOULD know?

Hopefully a little less on designer materials this time...

its when you add impurties to.. lets say a semiconductor which enhances its properties. For example adding metal ions to silicon to make it a better conductor of electricity

I have a formula sheet with all equations on it :smile:

labels which ones you are given and not given in the actual formula sheet.. hope it helps :smile:
