i haven't seen any stupidioty, tried about 3some ciders and i jsut feel light headed, don't insult me u skyruim pornstrs
I miss a bit 'a ding myself

Don't listen to everyone telling you NOT to drink, depends on how long you'll be there for, I'd take 4 with you, 6 if you would be prepared to lend someone a can, which is quite a good way to meet people.
4 does it for me too.
Why do you want to get drunk? Sure have a few cans but I see no point in getting smashed.

So i'm going to my 2nd party to get drunk for the first time since the first one i messed up a bit.

I hate the taste of beer, but i really like cider. I'm bringing some ciders to this party.

I bought some Strongbow original big cans, 5% alcohol.

How many ciders does it take to get drunk, cos at this party you have to get drunk or go.

Reading this, looks like half a can

It only takes me like 3 cans but it varies for everyone, it depends on how much you usually drink aswell (If you're a regular drinker then it often takes more for you to get drunk and less if you're not so used to it).
Strongbow is a horrible drink, at a party I would only drink it if there was literally nothing else available, literally nothing else.

But I'd say 6 Strongbows to get me properly tipsy, then 8-9 to be drunk and 10-12 Strongbows would be leave me completely on the floor.
Impossible to say: Age, previous drinking experience, size and I think genetics has a say on your alcohol tolerance. For instance, I can easily get through 12 pints before feeling anything, while some are gone at half a pint.

You could have just got some empty cans and pissed in them, probably no difference in taste.

If it was me I don't know maybe 7 or 8

But I think my tolerance increases as I move from lagers to hard spirits lol, I can easily have drink after drink once I get onto vodka redbulls, jagers etc.

When I first started drinking, (two weeks in, to having Cider) I was introduced to shots, had six shots, my days, I was knocked out on the floor. This was at a house party..

This was sambuca as well.

This entire thread is ridiculous. You'll look back on this is a couple of years and think yourself an idiot. Alcohol is measured in units: units are percent of alcohol and how much volume you are drinking. I find by about 14 units I am quite pissed and for those cans I reckon thats about 6 cans. Trust me, units are very easy little way of working out how drunk you will get. And you most definitely don't NEED TO BE DRUNK, that is just ridiculous. Come on man.

Thank you Jeeves, I shall my self be venturing forth to that luxurious resort later in the year.

I reckon two cans would have me pleasantly buzzing, three would make it pleasantly confused. Though that's only at the moment - I hardly ever drink right now, been a while since uni. I indulged in some wine on a few occasions recently and I was tipsy enough after one smallish glass at 13%. :erm:

Edit: PS Strongbow at 16? Did they stop making Bacardi Breezers and Smirnoff Ice?

Aye, but you soon reach a stage where you know your limits. I go out often now and down a fair few drinks and never really get hammered, tipsy is a good stage.
If they are the 500ml cans then after about 5 cans you would be in a good zone of drunk, 8 cans you would be quite drunk, more than 10 you'd be pretty smashed, probably be sick at some point, all depends on your ability to handle your drink. As you have said this is your 2nd party I wouldn't bring more than 7 cans ...
