Hiya,
I'm going there this year but I've never lived there before. Also, I happen to live in Selly Oak. From what I heard its because there are barely any street lights at night and the area is quiet with some drunk homeless people around, which is potentially unsafe.
Selly Oak is a pretty safe place just cos of the area soo yea :smile:
