Is Poem after 39 an Elegy.

I researched this over and over.No results ;\ However , I have no idea, because it's about a deceased person
'How I miss my father' She constantly talks about her father being missed in a Colloquial style . And is repetitious about how her father taught her to cook. The main subject of the poem is how she talks about her father which is deceased ._. I'm taking EDEXCEL english Lit exam on 20th May 2013. and this was one of the poems in the EDEXCEL anthology .
Is there any other language techniques used in this poem ?
