Sheffield question

hi Guys, I need some advice, I'm definitely into health and want to work as a doctor/healthcare specialist. I'm wondering whether I should apply to Sheffield this Sept or not, apparently it's really difficult to get into?

I'm at Sheff atm and it's just as difficult as any other uni to get into. You need to decide if you really want to be a doctor or not, it's a full on career and will take most of your time, so if you aren't 100% into it then don't apply. A healthcare specialist will have very different roles to a doctor.

Medicine at any uni is difficult to get into - as well as very good academics you need to have done some volunteering and work experience, EC's and sit the UKCAT or BMAT exams. There is a lot of work to be done if you are interetsed in medicine and if you haven't started yet, you have a lot of catching up to do.

Aw that's great! And well Medicine has always been something I've wanted to do, for various reasons, and I was told my a tutor at my college Sheffield is a toughy. I was curious and trying to eliminate Universities so I know where and what I doing since different Unis look more at specific things! But it's deffos in my top 5! Thanks guys
