Last minute tips for the Unseen Poetry Section?

Any tips, are there any techniques which are common in most of the unseen poems? Also apart from the simple such as a metaphor, similie, alliteration what other techniques are there?
Remember one of the first things to identify is what kind of poem it is (is it a sonnet, use rhyme ect.) and what the main themes of it are (love, friendship, war ect.) and say how these effect the types of techniques used. Eg. The theme of pride is presented by the use of superlatives used throughout them poem because ... ("Quote") (explanation of point)
Also remember the words stanza and poet instead of paragraph and writer.
