(AQA)
I keep making sooo many silly mistakes, for example: question 9 (e)(ii) on this paper:
http://filestore.aqa.org.uk/subjects/AQA-BIOL2-QP-JAN12.PDFThe mark scheme says:
1. More/most exchange is via lungs
(in African lungfish);
2. Gills will not function/function less
efficiently (in air);
2 1. Allow converse for first point.
2. Allow water is required for gills
to function.
But I put down:
-African lungfish uses the lungs the most for gas exchange
- Whereas the Australian lungfish uses the gills the most for gas exchange and only takes in around 10% oxygen through the lungs and takes in around 90% through the gills
- The African lungfish takes in around 90% using the lungs
I go on and on and on and on and don't get the second mark, I miss the ball completely and start yapping on!
And on the same paper for question: 9 (c) I put:
- It increased rapidly from 1cm3dm-3 to 3cm3dm-3 then gradually increased from 4cm3dm-3 to 7cm3dm-3
All it wanted me to say was:
1. Increases then levels out / stops
increasing / fluctuates slightly;
2. At 5 (cm3 dm-3)
I just yap on and on and on and on about the wrong things when it comes to data analysis and what not (graphs, tables etc)
I can't seem to break out of this problem!!! I don't know what to do!!
