Degree weighting

Does first year count towards the History degree at Lincoln Uni? Does anyone know the weightings of each year in the History course?
Its the same with all courses at lincoln. You need to score 40% in each assignment to pass. To pass the year you need to have a score average of at least 40% otherwise you cant go on to second year. You results from second and third year are the ones that officially count as your overall degree result is worked out in 3 ways:
1) the mean of your third year grades
2) the mean of your second and third year grades
3) if i remember right its the mode of your third year grades (you'd have to check that one to make sure I'm right)
Basically whichever score is highest when they have worked out those three is the grade you get. So first year is all about making mistakes and learning from the feedback to ensure you get good grades in your second year. Your second year is important as potentially it could help bump your overall grade up, and your third year........ Give it everything you've got! This is all the same with the vast majority of unis not just lincoln. But either way, don't be nervous, ask questions, try your best and you'll be fine
