Haloalkane Reactions

When you have a haloalkane and you mix it with hot ethanolic potassoum hydroxide is it possible to get small amounts of an alcohol as well as the alkenes?

no matter what temperature or conditions, ethanolic/aqueous you get simultaneous substitution and elimination... just elimination is favoured by ethanolic and substitution by aqueous, so in aqueous you will get a small amount of alkene as but mainly alcohol.
