For question 10, wasn't it 6
also for 7b) can you say translate it (8 right 0 up/down) then reflect on line x=3 then reflect on line y=1?
thanks

@Mr M - I drew the bearing than did the angle bisector
I recall intersection and stated that the ship will intersect the region (shore) hence something something the question was asking. Is that 3 marks?
I also shaded in the exact area of intersection?
I can redo it if I were to get hold of question.

The bearing will get you 1 mark. The rest of what you did was wrong. You needed to draw a circle centre C radius 5 cm.

Mr M, can you recheck question 10? I'm certain it was 22/4 (11/2)

I got 1.5 just like Mr M's answer so i think yours is wrong unfortunately :/
Thanks Mr M, Just a few questions: 1) For the question about Debbie's car, I got the working right, but I messed up the calculation and thought it was 69 km/h, but i also mentioned that she was faster, so how many marks would I get? 2) for question 5, I wrote 3 x 5 x 5 x 7 rather than saying 5 squared, would that be sufficient to get all 3 marks. Thanks.

I've checked - it is correct.

The sides of the rectangle were 4 + 3x and x + 6 and the perimeter was 32 metres.

Yeah sorry, I stupidly forgot to find out the other length. I did 4 + 3x + x + 6 = 32

For question 17, why did I get 4 hours? Where did I go wrong?

Impossible to say.

The litre milk question was
The cow gives 21.7Litres of milk each day for 280 days
Farmer only fills half litre per bottle
How many bottles can he fill? work an estimate.

I rounded to 22Litres for milk
280days to 300days
Half litre per bottle stayed constant.
300 x 22 = 6600
6600Litres X 2 = 13200 BOTTLES as each bottle is half litre.
Would that be correct?

I think for this question you had to round 21.7 to 1 significant figure, so 20x300x2 =12000.

I did something similar to this cuz it said estimate- originally I worked it out without rounding... :s-smilie:
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH SO HAPPY about sumeet's bloody pond

everyone was saying different answers and i was pretty sure my 1h45 was wrong as i'm so happy it isn't

sumeet... are you an eejit or summit?
Mr M, I had 7 and 4 instead of 8 and 5 for this question.

Matt 8 laps and Dan 5 laps (3 marks)

Do I get a mark for it if I showed the steps?
This is how I did it: Matt= 50 100 150 ....... 400 Dan= 80 160 ..... 400
But I thought I was supposed to write the number of laps they completed before starting from the same point.

Also, I got 65km/ph for this question

Debbie’s average speed was faster (75 km/hour) (4 marks)

I used the graph to find out. Is that correct?

HOW DID U GET 5x^2 i got 9X^2??????

I found the area of the square (16x^2) and subtracted the area of 3 triangles (6x^2, x^2 and 4x^2).

Single transformation I think the question was looking for. Rotation around 0,1.

Mr M,

If I said Enlargement of SF -1 on point (0,1), is that also correct? (For the transformation question)
