Is it possible for clearing student to live on campus hall?

Im an international student who is gonna be classified as a clearing student with some complex reasons. In the university's webpage, it says they wont offer halls to clearing students until after the start of the term. Does this mean they will never offer or is possible to offer after the start of the term?? Im very curious..

From the experience I had when I was going into first year the accommodation services at Kingston are pretty rubbish. I had a firm conditional offer and didn't get halls yet I know some clearing students who did.
If you don't get halls straight away then they do often have places in the first few weeks due to people dropping out etc. I know a few people who moved into their halls a few weeks into term because of this. If not there are plenty of student houses around - I was in a house in my first year as were a lot of other people I know.
