Hi,

I've finished my second year of university and I am now considering what modules to pick next year - since this is my last year, I want to choose my modules wisely so I can feel confident in securing a 2.1

I do a social sciences degree, and have the option to a statistics module (with no A-level prerequisites) and the way this module is assessed is 30% weekly homework and 70% 3 hour open book exam

Is the ''open book exam'' really what I think it is? Surely it must be really easy to get a good grade if I can bring anything into the exam?

I'm basically looking for any experiences any of you have with open book exams and if you would recommend it or not
