Infrared spectrometry
Was wondering if for CCEA as unit 2 chemistry you need to actually know off the too of your head where the different major bond peaks are? Or would you be provided with a table of values?
I don't think you need to learn off the values. Just the fact that certain groups of atoms absorb infrared radiation due to molecular vibrations and be able to identify compounds if they offer you a graph. hope that helps
