Should universities embrace market forces in deciding what to teach and how?
No.
Universities should employ lots of academics to deliver lectures to courses with no students. It would be even better if the lectures were delivered in medieval fashion at dictation speed where all of the non-existent students could take down in longhand over the course of a year, what will at the end of the year amount to a textbook for the subject.
is it worth going uni?
