MEng or BEng
Is it better to do a BEng or MEng for mechanical engineering, would my job prospectus be better? I wouldn't really be interested in doing a MSc after as I don't really want to do one straight after ( I would like to apply what I have learnt in my undergraduate degree and make money).

The MEng opens up more job opportunities overall, yes.
The MEng degree will allow you to become a chartered engineer once you have experience in industry. If you do the BEng you will have to study more to achieve that status. MEng is definitely better and will likely lead to a higher paying job, although it does take an extra year at university
