Mechanical, Aerospace engineering

I am wondering, which universities would be the best for mechanical, aerospace, manufacturing engineering or sth like that. I am not aiming at Cambridge or Oxford, and don't want to study in London, so could anyone tell me, which universities are the best without the ones that I mentioned?
So far I am considering Bath and Bristol, maybe Edinburg. Could anyone tell me their opinions about these universities?
