JSA application before or after graduation

Hello All,

I've recently just finished me undergraduate course and am going to graduate on the 10th of June. Unfortunately, I still haven't found a job (I know, big surprise right?) and am in the process of applying. So to keep my head above water, I'm considering to apply for JSA.

Simple question, shall I apply before or after graduation? Is there any benefit in me doing this now, as I'd rather not waste my time.

Thanks in advance

P.S. Congrats if you're graduating this year, and if still not, hang in there

I would be keep focusing on jobs, rather than the clowns at job centre.

I don't believe it's possibly to apply until you are officially no longer a student. So fingers crossed you get something, there are plenty of jobs, so you should be ok. Granted it depends on what you graduated with, might be more of a struggle with say, history or Phsycology compared to Engineering or Science related. But I'm sure you will get something.

Good luck.
