Student discount card

I was wondering if anyone had any idea where you apply for a student (discount) card if you attend a sixth form? Would this be through the school or a certain website?

You can get one through NUS (national union of students)
You can order one on their website and can use it online and in stores.
It usually costs around £13, which I find to be an absolute bargain, as I often save myself more than that much in a single transaction!

I have finished yr 11 and I am starting college in september am I allowed to get a student discount card this summer.

Oh noooo i'm still yet to endure all that stress! Most people I know are applying for them now but they're due to start college as opposed to 6th form and the college can sort that out for people :3

Not sure if you can get an NUS card without being in university. Although if you have an identification card of your local school (i.e. dinner card or something) and show it at McDonalds you're eligible for a free cheeseburger/mcflurry with a purchase of a meal
